The game picks up with the Vault Hunters waking up with Claptrap digging through the remains of the train and the explosion. The detonation causes the train to crash in the Arctic Wasteland, with our new team separates by the explosion. The Vault Hunters defend themselves long enough to reach a train car filled with explosives and a Handsome Jack-like puppet. The train turns out to be a trap set by Handsome Jack, to kill all who search for the Vault. The new group of Vault Hunters in Borderlands 2 are tasked with killing Jack and returning peace to Pandora.īorderlands 2 begins with the protagonists on a train to an unspecified location to begin their search for the vault. Handsome Jack has also blotted out much of the light on the planet by having a giant orbiting H-shaped base set in front of Pandora's stationary moon, creating a 'big brother' atmosphere throughout the planet. after exploding, i would watch the green numbers tick their armor down into nothing.Set five years after the events of Borderlands 1 Handsome Jack, the main antagonist in the game, has taken over the Hyperion Corporation, declared himself Dictator of Pandora and taken all of the credit for finding the Vault and also claimed he killed the Destroyer.
they are incredibly useful against MIRV robots. that would be fucking awesome! i used the corrosive ones in those hyperion compounds. the ones i used on a regular basis did corrosive damage and fire damage. the ones i kept around were the ones that would pull all of the enemies in the immediate area to it and then explode, causing elemental damage, and some other status stuff. during my first play through on my offline profile, i came across a crap load of those grenades that would split off into 6 child ones, seek out enemies, and bounce off of surfaces. its damage and elemental effect wasn't good enough to justify having it in my inventory. it was pretty damn nice! just annoying as fuck to fire and equip.
